FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Date: June 27, 2018
Press Release: All Are Invited to Dinanna Pa’a at Valley of the Latte, Friday, June 29, 2018
Valley of the Latte is proud of its partnerships with organizations entrusted with the preservation and perpetuation of Chamorro language culture through education and a spirit of friendship shared with visitors from near and far. Valley of the Latte Adventure Park in partnership with PIPIT Inc. and I Man Fafana’guen Bailan Chamoru are pleased to present Dinana Pa’a Taotao Tano, an annual event that celebrates Chamorro language and culture through local performance and visual artistry.
Dinana Pa’a celebrates indigenous connection to the land and sea in the spirit of inafa’maolek (community). Ancient Chamorro society was founded on a strong sense of community. The bounty of the land and sea was shared so that all could thrive. Through the years, despite being conquered by multiple world powers, the people of Guam retain their cultural heritage through their indomitable sense of community. Dinana Pa’a Taotao Tano celebrates inafa’maolek as a founding cultural value of the Chamorro people and the people of Guam as a whole.
The Valley of the Latte invites the public to join in the fun and festivities of the Dinana Pa’a Taotao Tano this Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Valley of the Latte Adventure Park in Talofofo.
