Mes CHamoru is the time of year when the entire island community can celebrate and reflect on the island’s history, heritage, and native culture. The month-long celebration is filled with exciting special events and fun activities that showcase the best of Guam’s food, culture, and Hafa Adai spirit.

At the Valley of the Latte, guests will be welcomed at the main Visitor’s Center for a quick pre-launch safety briefing. From the start, you will be escorted by our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides over Guam’s only navigable rivers, the Talo’fo’fo and Ugum rivers. Stories and information about the local area, flora, and fauna fill your way as you are transported to an entirely different time and place at the heart of the island. After your main river adventure tour, the main dock beckons with traditional greetings and the site of the island’s largest replica Guma’ comes into view. Nestled for thousands of years on the banks of the river, ancient Latte stones, a fresh water spring, and botanical garden are only your first sights as you step onto this beautiful landscape.

From here, cultural practitioners will showcase traditional fire-starting and basket weaving methods, guests can ride a friendly Karabao, and when the appetite for adventure is at its peak, all will enjoy local Fiesta Style BBQ lunches in our open air pavilion.
