Discover the artistry and practicality of traditional CHamoru coconut leaf weaving in this immersive, hands-on workshop focused on creating functional shoulder bags from natural coconut leaves. Guided by experienced cultural practitioners, guests will learn time-honored techniques that reflect the ingenuity, sustainability, and craftsmanship of the CHamoru people.
Designed for families and participants of all skill levels, this workshop offers a welcoming space to slow down, work with natural materials, and gain a deeper appreciation for island knowledge passed down through generations. Set in our open-air riverside pavilion, the experience is complemented by a relaxing lunch by the river, making it both educational and memorable.
