The Valley of the Latte Adventure Park is proud to present another unforgettable cultural experience for families this October! On Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th, 2025, bring the entire family to our Kids’ Sun Visor Weaving Workshop—a fun and creative way to learn traditional CHamoru weaving techniques while surrounded by the natural beauty of Guam’s only award-winning cultural adventure park.
🧵 Learn the Art of Weaving
In this hands-on workshop, all materials will be provided, and our cultural experts will guide each guest step-by-step through the process of weaving pandanus leaves into beautiful, functional sun visors. These hand-crafted visors are perfect for kids and adults alike—and will serve as both a cultural keepsake and a practical accessory you can enjoy all year round.
🍴 Fiesta-Style BBQ Lunch
After the workshop, gather at our open-air pavilion for a delicious Fiesta Style BBQ lunch plate. It’s the perfect way to refuel, relax, and celebrate your day of culture, adventure, and creativity with your loved ones.

There will be one — 2-hour session — on Saturday scheduled for 9:00 AM. Please arrive at 8:30 AM.

Guests will be welcomed at the Valley of the Latte Visitor’s Center and transported to the Latte Dock on our River Boats. All weaving workshops are conducted outdoors.
The Weaving workshops include a mini Fiesta Style BBQ Lunch Plate.
All supplies will be provided for the participants.
