The Valley of the Latte's Annual Guam River Festival is postponed. But stay tuned for updates, as we will be hosting the Annual River Festival and celebrate the grand opening of new cultural adventures!

The Mayors of Inarajan and Talofofo, The Guam Visitors Bureau,  Para I Prubetsu I Taotaota’, Jungle River Cruise LLC,  Valley of the Latte LLC and Kloppenburg Enterprises, Inc. are proud to present Valley of the Latte River Festival V scheduled for April 4 and 5 at the Valley of the Latte Park on the banks of the Talo’fo’fo River. The first four annual Valley of the River Festivals were  huge successes with close to 1,500 people attending the two-day events. You can view our past events at http://valleyofthelatte.com/events/

This year’s festival will feature many new activities, including; the opening of our Micronesian Cultural Village, Cultural performances  featuring our CHamoru and Micronesia brothers and sisters, the first taste of our watermelon harvest, and much, much more.

As in the past, local Artists and farmers will be part of the celebration, offering their products, services and talents to guests who come to the Festival. We will have Free Shuttle Service to and from Ipan Park on the event days.

children 5 and below are free of charge.

  • Event Dates/Times: 10 am to 5pm, Saturday, and Sunday, April 4 and 5, 2020.
  • Exhibitor Qualifications:  All Artists, farmers,  cultural practitioners and local vendors offering Guam Made Products.
  • Support Provided to Exhibitors: Exhibitors will be provided a 10’ x 10’ covered exhibit space, one 3’ x 6’ table and two chairs to display their items.  Exhibitors will be limited to Four (4) Credentialed Badges per space.  Exhibitors will be required to:
    • Decorate and dress the booth space made available to them for display.
    • Display and sell  locally made or grown items (subject to exhibitor having appropriate license/permit)
  • With the exception of farm produce, no outside food or beverage vendors will be allowed.
  • Cost to exhibitors:
    • Vendors Fee is ZERO - FREE – DE’BU’DI:– However you are requested to donate a prize for our raffle drawing.
    • Farmers will be requested to donate produce for our raffle program as well.
  • Availability:  Exhibitors will be provided space on a first come first serve basis, subject to availability. Last Day to Register is March 30, subject to availability.
  • How to Register:  Registration is now being accepted for the Valley of the Latte River Festival V.  Prospective Exhibitors must complete the following information and submit it via email at info@valleyofthelatte.com, by fax at 789-3413 or deliver in person to the Valley of the Latte Office, Route 4, Talo’fo’fo River Office.

The Valley of the Latte, as part of our celebration of Mes Chamoru, will be offering coconut leaf weaving workshops every Saturday in the month of March.

There will be two -- 2 hour sessions -- each Saturday: The first scheduled for 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on March 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th.

The cost of each session is $20.00 per person, maximum 20 persons per session. Each participant will be taught how to weave simple items such as the head band, and more intricate items such as the Round Basket (Gua'Gua) and the Fan (Gue'Ha), and more.

All supplies will be provided for the participants.

Each participant will also receive a gift certificate for the Adventure River Cruise PM tour, a $35.00 value. (Conditions Apply. The Gift Certificate is valid for 90 days and the Gift Certificate holder must bring one paying guest.)

We look forward to welcoming everyone to a safe return to adventure, culture, and traditions in the wide open spaces at the Valley of the Latte. You may attend more than one workshop, but PLEASE FILL OUT 1 FORM PER PERSON and select the date and time of the workshop you would like to attend:
