Valley of the Latte River Festival II

Inarajan Mayor Doris Flores Lujan, Talofofo Mayor Vicente Taitague, Valley of the Latte LLC, and Kloppenburg Enterprises, Inc. are proud to present, the "Valley of the Latte River Festival II", scheduled for April 1st and 2nd at the Valley of the Latte Park on the banks of the Talofofo River.

The First Annual Valley of the Latte River Festival was a huge success with close to 2,000 people attending the two-day event on April 2nd and 3rd, 2016. You can check out this and other past events on our Events Page.

Our vision is, "To be the place, chosen by the people of Guam, to celebrate our culture and share the natural beauty of our island, with visitors of all ages.

This year's festival will feature a culinary competition with Guam's High Schools and their culinary program to introduce a "Cha'Chak" Championship, with prizes given to winners of this activity during the Festival.

The event will include exhibit/booth spaces for artists, farmers, and schools to share their resources with the local community. With the 2nd year of this River Festival underway, we truly hope to; 1. Open the Valley of the Latte to our local community, 2. Promote Southern Guam as a major eco-tourism destination, 3. Support local artists in offering their products to our community, 4. Promote the development of cultural assets in the south through our schools, 5. Support the villages of Talofofo and Inarajan who are hosts of our activities, and 6. Continue to educate our community on erosion and other environmental problems in the South.
