Celebrate Culture, Community, and Cuisine at the Valley of the Latte River Festival 2026 (POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 16TH DUE TO SUPER TYPHOON SINLAKU)

Our hearts are with all those affected by this storm. During this time, we stand in solidarity with our island neighbors across Micronesia.

A portion of festival proceeds will be donated to support relief efforts for our brothers and sisters in the CNMI and throughout Micronesia, including Chuuk State.

Stay safe, and we look forward to gathering together soon.

There’s something truly special about gathering in a place where culture, nature, and community come together—and this April, that place is the breathtaking Valley of the Latte.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, (POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 16th DUE TO SUPER TYPHOON SINLAKU) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Valley of the Latte Cultural Park will transform into a vibrant celebration of island life for the Valley of the Latte River Festival: “Flavors of Micronesia.” Set along the tranquil banks of the Talo’fo’fo River, this one-day festival invites guests to experience the heart and soul of Micronesia through its people, traditions, and, of course, its incredible food.

A Taste of the Islands

This year’s theme, Flavors of Micronesia, is more than just a name—it’s an invitation. Guests will have the opportunity to explore authentic dishes and culinary traditions from across the region, with our CHamoru and Micronesian brothers and sisters sharing the tastes that define their cultures. Each bite tells a story, connecting generations through flavor, heritage, and pride.

Live Entertainment & Cultural Experiences

Throughout the day, the festival will come alive with live musical performances from local bands, dynamic cultural dances, and engaging presentations that celebrate the diversity of Micronesia. Whether you’re enjoying the rhythm of island music or witnessing traditional practices passed down through generations, every moment is designed to inspire connection and appreciation.

Support Local, Celebrate Local

The festival also shines a spotlight on Guam’s talented community of artists, farmers, and cultural practitioners. Wander through a lively marketplace filled with locally made goods, fresh produce, handcrafted art, and unique island creations. It’s the perfect opportunity to support local businesses while taking home something meaningful.

Family-Friendly Fun in a Tropical Paradise

With its lush greenery, calm river views, and welcoming atmosphere, the Valley of the Latte provides the perfect backdrop for a day of family-friendly adventure. From interactive cultural experiences to relaxing moments surrounded by nature, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the celebration, the Valley of the Latte River Festival also gives back. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Guam Community College Hospitality and Tourism Program, helping to support and inspire the next generation of leaders in Guam’s tourism industry.
