Ti Leaf Lei Workshop

Ti Leaves are widely used across the pacific for the making of flower garlands, flower crowns, and other adornments. Often Ti Leaf Leis are given as precious gifts to others for major life events especially school graduations. Leis are symbolic for the love one has for the bearer of these important gifts. Family and friends take painstaking care in crafting these gifts and when bestowed upon someone these are not to be thrown away, but rather preserved to serve as a reminder to the wearer of the tremendous love and care that went into the Lei’s making. Take a cultural excursion to the Valley of the Latte and learn from our cultural practitioners: how to make these beautiful gifts while enjoying a safe and refreshing outdoor adventure.

Please arrive at 8:30 AM to arrive prior to the riverboat launch. Weaving begins are 9:00 AM at the main demonstration area. Workshop lasts roughly 2 hours and includes a Mini Fiesta Style BBQ Plate.

There is a maximum of 25 guests allowed per workshop and advanced registration is required, so please do not wait to register. You can book and pre-pay online at http://valleyofthelatte.com/product/tileaf-workshop/.

Cost of each session: $50 per Adult and $40 per Child.

Guests will be welcomed at the Valley of the Latte Visitor’s Center and transported to the Latte Dock by Riverboat. All workshops are conducted outdoors. All supplies will be provided for every guest and guests will be able to take home their hand-crafted masterpieces.
