Celebrate “Para i Famaguon-ta” (For Our Children) at the Valley of the Latte!
This March 29th and 30th, the Valley of the Latte invites you and your family to honor “i Famaguon-ta” as part of our Mes CHamoru celebrations. We’re offering free entry for all kids aged 11 and under (one with every paying adult) to experience a day filled with culture, history, and adventure!
- Step Back in Time: Explore the Talo’fo’fo River Valley’s rich history, flora, and fauna.
- Ancient Latte Settlement: Visit the over 1,000-year-old historic ruins.
- Traditional Skills: Learn to weave, make coconut oil, and watch how our ancestors created fire.
- Animal Encounters: Feed our friendly animals and enjoy an unforgettable carabao ride!
Details to Note:
- Free pass for children 11 and under (must be accompanied by one paying adult).
- Lunch fee is not included with FREE ADMISSION. A $10 Lunch Fee will be applied for every FREE CHILD ADMISSION.
- Join us on Saturday, March 29th, or Sunday, March 30th to celebrate your little ones while connecting with Guam’s cultural heritage.
- This Event is available to I Tao Tao Ta (Residents) and Military guests ONLY.

Adventure Activities for Everyone
Aside from our Adventure River Cruise, we also offer a variety of activities that cater to all ages
- Step back in time as you explore the ancient latte site, where you can see and learn about Guam’s unique history and cultural significance.
- Walk through our botanical gardens with wide varieties of plants and trees.
- Visit the fresh water spring, which has been used by the Ancient Chamorus for centuries.
- Get up close to Guam’s iconic ancient latte stones, which were used as support pillars for traditional homes and hold great spiritual importance in Chamoru culture.
- Salt Making Demonstration: Witness the traditional art of salt making, a skill passed down through generations.
- Fire Starting & Coconut Leaf Weaving: Engage with our cultural experts as they demonstrate these essential island skills.
- Animal Ranch Experience: A favorite among kids of all ages! Feed deer and learn about Guam’s local wildlife, ensuring an educational and fun-filled day.
- Carabao Ride: Embark on a gentle ride with our friendly carabao—a quintessential Guam experience.
- Fiesta Style BBQ Lunch Plate: Satisfy your appetite for adventure with a delicious BBQ lunch, packed with the flavors of Guam.
