Looking for an unforgettable summer experience for your young explorer?
The Valley of the Latte Summer Cultural Experience offers 2-weeks of fun, learning, and adventure in Guam’s southern paradise along the Talo’fo’fo and Ugum Rivers. Designed for kids aged 6–14, this one-of-a-kind program runs Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and is packed with incredible activities that blend cultural discovery, hands-on crafts, and outdoor adventures.

This isn’t just another summer program. This is the only kids’ summer experience in Guam that immerses young adventurers in both culture and nature on an ancient latte site. Not only will participants explore the island’s rich heritage, but they’ll also interact with its amazing wildlife, habitats, and traditions, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Valley’s botanical gardens, animal ranch, farming fields, and Micronesian village.

Get up close and personal with these gentle giants for a true island experience.

Kayaking Adventures
Paddle through serene river waters and connect with nature like never before.

Fishing Adventures
Learn how to fish from our Adventure River Boat Cruise using hand lines!

Coconut Oil & Candy
Learn how to harvest fresh coconuts and make coconut candy and oil.

Wildlife Care
Spend some time with our friendly local wildlife and learn how to care for them.

Valley Hikes
Enjoy hikes through the beautiful Valley, past limestone cliffs, through lush jungles, and around the ancient latte sites.

Learn about culture
The Valley of the Latte has countless ancient artifacts, Latte Stones, and amazing ways to learn about and experience the history and culture of our island.

Botanical Garden
Explore and learn how the ancient CHamorus lived and thrived with local plants and our fresh water spring at the Valley.

Hotnu Baking
Our cultural director will showcase how to make delicious breads, treats, and how to use the outdoor wood-fire hotnu oven.

Traditional Practices
Learn how to husk coconuts and gather materials from the land for great workshops.

Pizza Days
Using the outdoor Hotnu Oven, our explorers can satisfy that hunger for adventure with freshly baked pizza!

Rope Making
One of the traditional skills is using materials from the land to make useful tools like rope.

Culture & History
The Valley has the island's largest replica GUMA (Home of the Ancients). Utilized for lessons, talks, and cultural demonstrations.

Valley Farms
Our explorers get a chance to harvest fresh limes, watermelons, and more from our fields for sweet and refreshing treats to beat the summer heat.

Great Gear
Our explorers also get great Valley of the Latte gear; a bag, a hat, and some great finds from our partners.

Traditional Crafting
Our cultural practitioners guide our explorers through crafting Mwarmwars (Flower Crowns) and Ti Leaf Leis.

Explore the Valley Farms and lands and enjoy fresh fruit, veggies, and treats straight from the land.

Language Learning
Enjoy learning about the CHamoru Language, traditions, and culture.

Rainy Days
When the weather does not permit our regularly scheduled outdoor adventures. Our explorers still get a chance to learn about the history, culture, language, and adventure of the CHamoru culture.

Family Day
At the end of every 2-week session we invite our families to book the Adventure River Cruise Tour and join our intrepid explorers for a family day fillled with awards, food, and great memories!
